The Only Arizona Hearing Scheduled For Pinetop
You can make a difference just by showing up
WE NEED A CROWD!
This is a historic opportunity. A critical mass of supporters on December 3 can turn the tide for wolves.

Defenders of Wildlife is offering a phone training about what to expect and how to speak effectively for wolves. More information here http://www.defenders.org/national-wolf-emergency/public-hearing-arizona
Remember JUST BEING there will make a difference.
In Albuquerque and Denver, wolf supporters turned out in large number to speak up for wolves. Now is the time for the White Mountains to show its support for the Mexican Wolf Reintroduction program. Never have our wolves faced such opposition.
The Koch brothers, secretive anti-conservation and anti-labor billionaires, have teamed up with the agricultural industry to sway the government at this event.
Those of us that believe that wolves are an important part of a healthy forest, or want their children to hear the howl of a wolf in the wild, need to step up and attend the hearing. Wolf opponents will make their voices heared. You are the voice of the wolf at these hearing.
You and other supporters of the Mexican wolf are all that stands between survival and extinction for these critically endangered, beautiful, and intelligent animals.
Please stand up and speak up for the lobo on December 3. Look for other supporters at the hearing. We will have two rooms reserved for you to mingle with others that understand the importance of having wolves in our forests.
Only 75 lobos remain in the wild. Your participation is needed to ensure the future of wolves in the wild.
Hon-Dah Conference Center, 777 Highway 260, near Pinetop, AZ (3 miles outside of Pinetop at the Junction of Hwy 260 and Hwy 73)
Please plan to arrive as early as possible. The number of those allowed to speak will be limited, and based on what has happened at other hearings, we may need to start signing up to speak at 3:00 p.m.
From 3:00 p.m. until the hearing ends, conservation groups will host a hospitality room at the Hondah Conference Center where wolf supporters can get information, coffee, and help with comments.
3:30 to 5:00 p.m. US Fish and Wildlife Service Public Information meeting Be forewarned: the information presented in this meeting will include propaganda to support delisting the gray wolf and reducing protections for Mexican wolves.
6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Public Hearing on wolf proposals This will be your opportunity to speak up for wolves.
